A plaque beside the sculpture bears the words: "un livre ouvert que nous ecrivons ensemble: an open book we are writing together".

The reflections and colour on the surface of the sculpture are created by light. This is appropriate as Paris is known as the City of Light.

The sculpture will be permanently located in a site close to the Champs Elysees later in the year.
