Light and sound on a night-time walk through the forest

The trail leads through recently planted and ancient forest, past the ruins of a sheiling, past a bare hillside once covered by trees of the Caledonian forest but now only the remains are whitened trunks of dead trees, through a gateway of trees, past a dry river bed and finally to the fairy lochan, the Lochan Uaine, where legends abound, and then back on newly created walkways through the heather covered glen.

Along the 3.5 km trail, light and sound interventions bring the forest to life, revealing the beauty of the forest at night, with reminders of former dwellers and their legends.
